Disco 1 Any help on Broken half shaft/CV joint

Was driving home last Sunday, leaving Tesco car park and heard a clunk... lost all drive!

Managed to get home with difflock on (only 1/4 mile), kept disengaging to try and minimise wind-up.

So I’m sure it’s CV or half-shaft. Have removed front prop shaft and driven into town with difflock on, which was OK but sometimes felt weird/clonky going round tight corners. This would lead me to believe it’s the CV not the shaft- am I right? Is CV joint an easy-ish job?

And is this the kit for the job? Guessing complete kit is better than just the joint? Mine is an early 1992 Disco.
