Any green laning trips happening this weekend around sheffield/chesterfield? 18/19th

We're looking for somewhere to green lane around sheffield or chesterfield. Would like a trip with a few other guys there as it's always more fun in convoy. Not concerned whether it's just a little bumpy or serious off roading.

Any idea's much appreciated.

Get a licence first then you might be able to join a few / also try posing in the right section

You're not being helpful or informative. Take your vendetta against people having fun elsewhere. Why not start your own thread if you feel so strongly. Don't comment on my threads.

True fact though you cant lane on legal byways with no licence

Laning with no licence is one of the route causes for it having a bad rep.

At no point did I say I was driving. I refer you to the word "we're" in the first sentence. "We're" is a short form of "we are". The word "we" means a pair or group of people, including the person using the word. I am in that group but I never stated that I was the driver. Start you're own thread, don't use mine.

well im sure from the tone of your many threads its you that intends to drive when off the main roads, and being as this is a open forum and you have nothing to hide then why should i stay silent, At the end of the day im only giving my opinion on it so why are you being so defensive and acting like you've something to hide.

Yeah and I'm sure you'd be more than happy to tip off old bill at the far end. As I have stated multiple times I have no intention of doing anything illegal. If I was going to do it I wouldn't have posted it on a forum with thousands of members. I don't have to justify myself to you. End of discussion.

well the offer is there and if your not driving then whats the problem, you asked for a laning run im offering you one, and just so your aware all the info about my runs go to the police / op blackbrook anyway so we dont get into bother and everything is nice and LEGAL

MG means you can sit in with one of the regulars or let your grandad drive you in yours, he most definately wouldn't let you drive, as greenlanes are under the same laws as ordinary roads. It won't be long till you get driving legally even if it seems it is, just be patient.

I know they have the same laws. I am asking for my grandad because he doesn't have an account. I'm fed up of being pounced on by that **** every time I post. At least you can see my intentions and others give advice with their disapproval. He gives nothing useful at all.

Well fine then, every thing is in order, I even got new tax the other day along with the MOT. I am annoyed because HE is being totally obstructive to my perfectly genuine threads. I ask for info and I can't get it because he clogs up my threads on purpose. I don't want his comments at all.

Oh and you can't choose who posts on ya threads, I think it promotes good discussion even if people don't like it.

Probably because Greenlaning is getting jumped on by Eco do-gooders at every oppotunity. Having kids driving up and down them with no license or insurance is just going to give them more ammunition and **** it up for those of us who want to do it by the book and try and keep everyone happy.
So he`s not having ago, he`s trying to keep it legal and above board so they don`t all get shut down, simple!

Look Khaos if you wanna run out i'll take ya gladly, no probs with that i know many lanes around the peaks but it will be done staright and legal with your grandad driving as i always send the route to the blackbrook team incase we get the locals complaining and or get into trouble / accident.

When I ask for any advice "get a license isn't useful at all". I'm not saying I am going to but if I did want to do something I shouldn't then just let me take the wrap for it.
I ask so I can learn. I know all of the laws so I don't need telling that, I just wanted to know some info and I get my threads clogged up by him on his crusade. I HAVE DONE NOTHING ILLEGAL. He's not the police anyway so I don;t have to justify myself to him. I just do so you guys can see my intentions and then hopefully you still help me out.
