Any connection between 3 Amigos and fog lamp?

Couple of weeks ago after getting increasingly fed up with the erratic visits by our three chums I replaced the ABS shuttle valve switch (using crude lever/mirror method) with a brand new one and felt pretty smart for about 250 miles - which included towing a boat on the motorway for over 120 miles and other general driving all over a span of about a week.

Unfortunately 3 chums re-appeared once last week then disappeared again.

Today I went to replace front drivers side fog lamp bulb and found it hadn't blown. Put it back and it worked but then within a matter of minutes of driving the 3 chums have come back and are back to their old tricks.

Is there any possibility that the fog light circuit/wiring could be causing the 3 Amigos to come back?

I drove the car on to ramps to make it easier to access the light fitting and have heard that some unusual shock/vibration could set it off? I think this unlikely as I have thrown the car around a lot after fitting the new SVS and all was OK.

Thanks for that Sierrafery. I had the car put on a doiagnostic about a month ago and was told it was the shuttle valve switch so decided to save myself the £400 I was quoted and do the job myself.
Previously a friend had put the car on diagnostic and it had come up with SVS as well as something to do with SRS cct - I think.

Do I need someone with a Nanocom? I am in East Cheshire if anyone can help?

Thanks again Sierrafery. I studied this very good article before jumping in to replace the SVS.

Do I take it you feel the connection in the modulator is duff so I need to do Option B - which is the mod to the SVS and not to the connection in the modulator unit? If so, would you consider my original SVS would operate correctly (rather bu**er this one up first) or should I take off the brand new one again and modify this one?

Sorry to sound like a complete numpty but this really is serious stuff for a relative novice.

IMO the SV's are working even with the fault code logged... LR overcomplicated this issue and made it too sensitive...not the switch gets faulty ...rather the valve itself could cause trouble. If u have a new one put it on to be certain it's good then if in short time u'll get the code again do the mod. Thanks for the encouragement. Checked original SVS and it is giving all correct readings. Will give it a go over the weekend with the old one. If I lash it up there is always the "new" SVS to fall back on.
If the lights don't come on again I may leave it or be brave enough to fit the new one at a later date.....but why bother?
