anvil

in county antrim?

I was interested in an anvil until I found out worn out ones, beyond refurbishment, were selling for over £100! Seems they are a fashionable garden ornament so sell for silly money.

thats the problem. I used to have one on my old farm but i left it as i couldnt be arsed moving it up here.

Didnt realise they were going for such daft money! :doh:

Might be something to consider, but my local scrap metal recycling plant has many of them stacked up near to the weigh bridge, I guess these get pulled out of scrap piles and reused. Perhaps you could have a look at a local metal recycling place near you? Maybe they do the same?

Might be worth a look at, I don't know how far away it is from you but at least it's in the correct country
