Good evening to you all and i hope you are safe and well.

Me landy has no anti roll bars fitted and with a roof top tent its a bit boat like around islands.

So im thinking about fitting anti roll bars front and rear but would they really hinder off road performance?

I mostly green lane before finding a camp site and the strata florida is the most extreme off road i have done and will do. no pay n play days or that sort of thing.

Just wondered what you thoughts and experiences are?

Cheers Landy Lee

I have seen vehicles do Strata Florida when they have antiroll bars, end of the day if it does not feel safe with the extra weight on top, then if fitting the bars makes it better and safer to drive it is a no brainer.

Yes this is my thinking to. its not unsafe and i don't over load my roof rack but i think fitting anti roll bars is the way to go.

If you are worried about it you can get extreme disconnecting anti roll bars (link) so you have the best of both, but they are expensive. However for your usage I would not brother and just fit a standard anti roll bar. You do not sound like you are really pushing the vehicle to the limit so you will probably not notice a difference off road but will notice a huge difference on road.
