just noticed my drivers side foot well is wet is this an other common leak? an ideas were it could be comeing from i havent got any sun roofs and cant see any thing wrong with the bulkhead or round the window any ideas thanks.

remove the black plastic trim to the left of the clutch and have a look.possibly heater pipe corroded just replaced minewith a new bit of rubber hose ...hope this helps

check your drivers door seal, the air-con is above passenger footwell with the trans tunnel in between it can't be that. the inlet/outlet from the heater matrix are plastic and again these are on the passenger side behind the block so probably not these the floor behind the pedals can and does rust through so it could possibly be this but get someone to hold an hose in various positions and lift your carpet and sound deadening and see if you can see the point of entry.:)

Mine has the same problem, i took off all interior panels around the area but it it coming from behind the dash on the right hand side and still cannot get to it, next step is to remove bonnet, wing and drivers door, i suspect its where the bulk head meets the inner wing and scuttle panel, will let you know how it goes. cheers

Found my leak, its a summer repair, the windscreen has de-bonded at the bottom right hand side about 8 inches long down to the bottom corner, filled it with some rtv sealer as a temp fix till i can have the screen removed and refitted.

Well, knowing what i know now, NO dont take anything off except the black exterior plastic cover on the Apost, held on by three clips behind post and three down the front where the seam meets but you cant see them until the cover is off, where the screen has de-bonded it will have faded slightly, its a right ****** to get the cover back on, hope this helps.
