Hi all!

Right, I have got the old belt etc off my engine. It is glaringly apparent that it has NEVER had a new belt fitted - the crank pulley is the un-flanged version and there is evidence of the belt rubbing the front cover to the point that it has actually worn a groove in the cover!! Strangely, there was nowhere near as much debris in the case or damage to the belt as I would have expected to see - the engine has covered approx 125k miles. The belt was also massively slack (approx 1.5 teeth worth of movement available on the pump pulley) The cam pulley is a tooth out according to the mark!!

Anyway, my question refers to the replacement bolt for the tensioner. I believe it should be a cap-head but my kit doesnt include one and I can't seem to find a part number. Is there anything special about it? If not, can someone give me the specs for it so I can get one?

Cheers,

Rich
