Right my rangey is back up and running the garage says now that it needs a thermostat because when it gets upto temperature the hose down to the stat is hot and the hose out of it that goes to the bottom of the rad is stone cold as is the bottom of the rad but the top is hot eventually it boils over the expansion tank the stat on it is only 6 months old so can the stat be nackered and are the aftermarket ones ok to use or shall I get a genuine one, they sorted the firing order problem.
