Another newbie

Hi I'm Penny and live in Hampshire.

Had 200TDi Disco from new in 92 until 2003 (got fed up with it going wrong) and covered 150k miles in that.

Bought a PROPER LANDROVER in September - a 1988 Defender 90 hard top in old english white. Very plain and simple, just side steps - the old fashioned ones and big General Grabber tyres. Lovely and utility with rubber mats and wipe clean black vinyl - fantastic for dirty dogs and muddy kids. Main reason was to tow a horse trailer, but I really like trundling around in it.

welcome to madville! yipee, another horsey land rover owner! whoo hoo! i bought a disco to tow the horse box and then got into off roading! my 110 came up for sale and i just had to have him! now i am a converted off roader! might want to put on all terrains for towing, it will preserve your muds for playing and you may find it a better tow! well i did but then diamond backs are a bit harsh on the road!
