another newbie

Hi All,

Another newbie, wanted a defender since i was a kid. Now i have one. usual stuff. Its a td5 hardtop, will get some photos up when i get round to it. Been using the forum as a guest for a couple of weeks, and decided this looks like the best forum so thought id join. thanks for having me.

Im a member on other forums(non landrover) so i know how the search function works, im sure ill probably ask a stupid question or 2 though.

So i live in birmingham and when im home i have plenty of time on my hands so looking to get out and about as much as possible. If anyone in brum or surrounding area can recommend clubs play days etc let me know.

The last time i tried my hand at off road driving i was doing work experience at lode lane and i was 17. Looking forward to having another go.

Used to be a fairly good site not far from you Lichfield I think.

Have a look at the BLREC website they meet up near you too, I've let my membership lapse cos they're a bit far from here lol.

Thanks for that, i did see the site but didnt know if they were still active. there dosent seem to be any up to date info on the site.
