Hi all
Any help or advise will be much appreciated....
My rear diff on a 99 freelander went tits up yesterday, after a lot of noise and vibration, the arse end of my car swerving all over the road and a lot of smoke and oil i had to have it took home on a flat bed...
First thought, would you say its broken or could it just be bearings...??
second, having it up on ramps today it look like all the oil came out of the breather pipe at the top of the diff..
Oh and when you roll the car it seems tight and then goes loose again...
Any advise please please please
