Hi all,

I can see that a few months ago there was a successful nanocom group buy!

Anybody interested in doing another one? I'd love a unit, but the £308 price tag makes it hard for me to get past the finance department... if you know what I mean ;)

The following discounts are available (as per the nanocom website) which make it a little easier to swallow;

- 1 to 4 Kits = 0% discount
- 5 to 9 Kits = 10% discount (that makes it £277 per unit)
- 10 to 19 Kits = 20% discount (that makes it £246 per unit)
- 20+ Kits = 22.5% discount (that makes it £238 per unit)

If we can all get our heads together, I don't mind doing the leg work. I've not spoken to the chap yet, so not sure about delivery costs. But like I say, i'm more than happy to do the arsing about, organising and phone calls etc. as long as I can get confirmed/genuine people onboard.

Let me know,

Ben

Cant see anyone going for 9 kits as that is £2493, whereas 10 kits is £2460 so you get an extra kit and save £33 in the process:confused:
I may possibly be interested if you get 10+, I don't have a need for one at the moment but have future aspirations that may well change that.

I am interested

I'd be interested in a GB for a Nancom, want one for my p38. Are the Nanocoms different for the different models? Would this be an issue with a GB?

Hi

I have participated in 2 group buys now. You can order any unit you like as long as the total of units (mixed varieties) adds up to the required minimum.
Might be worth a look in the for sale section, you never know someone might be selling a Nanocom Evo for the GEMS engine, cheaper than a group buy
;)

What he said ;)

Once we hit the first discount bracket, i'll call and get the finer details.

Anyone else thinking of using it as a live instrument? I was thinking of mounting it somewhere happy on the dash (out the sight of crooks!) to keep a better eye on what the engine is doing all the time.

Weird, I was thinking the same AGAIN! Would need to extend the ODB cable but easily doable. but, it's a bundle of money for somebody to swipe (if they know what it is) and also, may pose a security risk (break in, use nanocom to disable alarm etc.).

Is the boost gauge/sensor accurate and where does it take it from?

I have a nice space on my raptor dash where it might fit with some jiggery-pokery

Not sure where it gets its info, I expect from the ECU. This is true... I did read about one chap who opened it up and extended the screen to the dash leaving the nanocom in the cubby.

If you made up the right connector then I expect it would be easy enough to extend it that way and be able to put it back to normal if need be! That way its just a little LCD screen on show!

Taa dah!

(love the chart btw lol)

Any more for any more?

I'll let this run until end of next week. If we don't get into the first bracket, i'll have to bite the bullet and pay full price... boo...
