We have just bought a Discovery 2 and when I went to drive off the other day water started pouring out of just about everywhere - seat belt slots, sunroof handles (the're manual ones), by the rear view mirror at the top of the windscreen and in the load area. We removed the headlining and sure enough the drain seals were leaking, although the drain pipes seemed to be clear. They were sealed up and after they had dried we did a test with the hose and no water came in - result, or so we thought.
Next morning, after it had rained overnight, there was water on the load area carpet. I got in the load area to have a closer look and as I did so some more water ran out of the back of the rear sunroof from the areas circled in the attached photos. The drive does have a slight slope and the car was parked bonnet upwards overnight (as it was when we did our hose pipe test). I turned the car round so it was bonnet downwards and it didn't leak all day despite fairly steady rain the whole time.
Clearly there is more for us to do to sort the leaks but I don't really know enough about what I am doing to know what our next move should be so any suggestions would be welcomed.
