Guys, a word of encouragement.

This is my daily drive, I have done this job after working hours, and weekends ( inside alright) but every night I had to make sure all the tools were tidy and drive home.

It is hard to explain the feeling of a job well done when you finish! And you just want to jump to the next one. Now its the roof lining time!

Good luck with your projects!

Hi Mate, just about to do the same to mine. Did you drill out the spot welds or just hit them with an angle grinder? It looks like you riveted the floor in so I would have thought a grinder would be ok. I intend to rivet (or tekscrew) mine in. Looking for inspiration..
Thanks
Tim

Hi Tim,
I drill the spot welds with a spot weld drill, and as I went forward I had a sheet of metal underneath the boot floor, just in case!
I then welded all around the edges, and riveted in the middle, the support bars.
Any more info please ask.
Good luck!

Nuno
