Another CB question

I have just got myself a cb to take green laning next weekend. Problem is it didn't come with an aerial or mount.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of a decent aerial and mag mount at a decent price? have ran out of options in town and all the deals I am looking at on t'interweb want an extra £10 to post it to me (the aerial and mount is only £20 FFS).

Tried doing a search on here but no joy.

Of course if someone had a spare set up to fit a Midland 78 (not sure if that makes a difference) that I could take off their hands for a good price that would be much better

if you're tight on time, maplins. get the small mount for a tenner and whatever antenna yo want. If you've got time for postage, that website that GJ posted is spot on

can anyone help me i put a cb in me work van the other day now i can hear all the truckers warning of speed traps etc but not been able to get aynone to hear me any ideas ? also what is the button on the mike for

Cheers GJ & Vengeful I came across that site before but thought I needed the 7" mount which caused the high postage.

Might be taking a trip to m'bro tomorrow so can check out Maplins while i'm there.

Ive got a magmount i can send you for a fiver delivered if you need it. Have a spare aerial too, but its a rigid DV27 which might get snapped green laning, but ill do em both for a tenner delivered if its any good to you...
