Hi all
Last year I bought some pretty dreadful calipers for my 200TDI which I wanted to upgrade to vented discs - and still do.
The existing non-vented calipers were rebuilt by me a few years ago and are fine. I thought I might either use the spacers from the replacement calipers or make new.
The spacers in the replacement calipers have a 1/2 inch gallery hole with a piece of rubber tube and a sleeve of sorts inserted within.
I am interested to know if the originals were ever built like this. The factory replacement gallery seals for these calipers are plain square-section 'O' rings - not bits of rubber tube.
Any input would be welcome before I pull the vehicle apart. ...
Kind regards
Paul
