At the top of your internet browser where it says http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz and the rest - copy all of that when on the first page of this post. To do that highlight the text up there then press the Ctrl key and C together

Go to eBay and send the seller a message, in the message box click and press ctrl V - this will paste the link for you to send to teh seller

I found this one earlier and thought it's so obvious someone would have found it. Theres a range rover tax exempt on there too. They never made a tax exempt rangie did they?

Yes, the Range rover was introduced in 1970. so early ones will be tax exempt

i thought they was introduced in 19709 so yes

Well it was 1973 so it still wasn't tax exempt. I thought they came out in 72 tbh.

Thanks for the linking advice. Yes, a vehicle 1st registered in the first few months of 1973 may be tax exempt if it can be proved/ presumed to have been manufactured in 1972. Its all about when it was made, no registered, like ex MOD vehicles, demobbed in , say, 1978 but made in 1970.

They did come out in 1970 and the one on ebay is a '72 and a very nice example IMO.Range Rover, Land Rover, tax exempt, 2 dr 1972 classic on eBay (end time 13-Jan-11 14:49:33 GMT)

You can get tax exemption on some 1973 cars if you can prove that construction of your particular vehicle was started in 1972.

If the vehicle was BUILT before 1st jan 1973 it will be tax exempt, even though it may have been registered after this date.

He told me that he wont reply to anyone other than genuine bidders so I wouldn't hold my breath for a reply. He did accept that tax free status is being pushed with the changes but assured me it was built by a member of one of the bigger Landy clubs.
