Since i'm going to have to do all 4 bearings again due to using the wrong grease, i wanted to make sure that I'm fitting the hub oil seal correctly.

I tap it in so it's flush with the machined edge of the hub. This always leaves 1/2 inch gap before the bearing. Should i insert it further so it touches the bearing or am i right already?

Thanks

When i did mine i pushed the seal all the way into the bearing, even if you leave it flush with the hub, when you tighten the hub nut up it will pull it into the bearing anyway i think.
