ok so this is my first problem but I see so many posts about air suspension

My problem is as follows, sometimes but not always sinks but more one one side than the other, on average 1 out of 5 times deflates on average in about 20 mins when parked up, I say 1 in 5 as I can park it over night and it stays inflated, but today I parked it and it was decked in twenty minutes, more so on the left hand side that the wheel is in the arch but an inch or so gap on the otherside, have sprayed lines and airbags for leaks and not found anything, and kind of rule a leak out as only happens now and again, could it be a switch that's playing funny games ?? Any insight would be great

99% airbag leak... replace both bags and it''ll be ok IMO, and do it ASAP cos the compressor will suffer by overworking, if you want to rule out a management/electrical issue leave it with battery disconnected, if it drops this way it's certainly leak and being intermittent most probably bag cos valve or pipe leaks are mostly continuous but bags have the ability to seal themselves at the beginning... if no drop with battery disconnected then it's a sensor issue

The rubber compound used to make the air bags will harden and deteriorate over time, making for small cracks and splits to start.

In the early stages of failure these splits can appear to self-seal, but take it from me and Sierrafery that situation won't last, they will fail totally in the end.

Replacing both bags is the way to go, there's no need to get into the "Oh, no. the suspension is broken and I must now change to springs" frame of mind. When the air suspension is working it's a good system.
