Angle of attack

whats the best mods for increasing the angle of attack at the front.

Looking for ideas on chassis / bumper mods.

assume lift kits and wheels already done.

cut/change bumper surely?

I changed from Standard to a tubular then back to standard with the valance removed and end caps trimmed.

The tubular gives more clearance, but to my mind looks ugly and brutal, possibly intimidating to others. Fine for Play Days, and when we trialled it, but a bit too much for laning and caravanning that we now mostly do. The bottom picture has the same bumper as the top, just end caps trimmed, valance removed and centre piece cut a little to allow for towing shackles to protrude easily. We don't seem to have lost any off-road ability going from the tubular to this as there are extremely few times when you need that much angle of attack unless, as I say, playing or competing.

Looks neat and tidy. Agree with your opinion on the tubular.

thx for the info, the vehicle is traybacked so i prob will go tubular to match the back.
