I would like to fit an Anderson socket to my 90 but it would most likely go under the bonnet so is there a way of water proofing it say like a cap or sumthing??

Get the boot and dust cover kit to go on em. The red dust cover is made of rubber and waterproof. The black cover is made of plastic and isn't.

I remove the leads and regrease the connections on mine with copper grease about once every 6 months. It's mounted on my front bumper and is now on its 3rd landy. That makes the connector about 6 or 7 years old. I have nor rubber boot on mine and only a plastic cap. If you don't grease em up regularly though they will corrode. It tends to be the little metal spring clip/retainer in the plastic housing that rots away first.

Brilliant find on eBay, on my shopping list for good.. Just need to find the time to fit it...
