my gf wants a 4x4 but not a mans car like a defender so at the mo its a toss up between the vitara and a gaylander. got about 2.5k (of her money :D ) to spend. i dunno anything bout gaylanders but i imagine we could only get a k series 1.8 with our budget. so are they realy that bad and if so is there a cure rather than a temporary fix for this h'gasket problem.
cheers chaps

Serious answer

1) "are they realy that bad" - yes.
2) "is there a cure rather than a temporary fix for this h'gasket problem." Yes - a TD4

As a monthly payment over 48 months this would get you a brand new fully loaded Range Rover Vogue and you'd have a couple of hundred quid left over.

You could then enjoy a brand new Range Rover for a month and what happens after that when the second payment is due would be your g/f's problem...

Cheers
