Anyone had the issue where nearside rear lights turn off when vehicle is started?

When it’s started do the N/S front side lights go out as well?
Each side has its own fuse so if fronts stop on may be wiring problem in rear corner where connections are

Well this is the fun bit.. it doesn't, if you turn the car over it works with engine running.. when it's not it doesnt

You may need to explain that a bit better.
Even my twisted brain couldn’t get that.

But at the end of the day, it’s an earth, if it’s not it’s a fuse/box. Then its The wiring .

Exactly..

So;
- Turn lights on, with ignition nearside rear is off, but offside rear is on
- Turn engine on, all rear lights work

Something weird going on somewhere..

Oh and this one is very interesting.. Turn hazards on, open rear door, light goes out.. close rear door.. light comes on.. got a bad earth on the hazards for sure.. but the Ignition to Engine starting turning that rear light off is a weird one. Lots of testing when it's dry.
