Amusing P38 Issue... is my missus to short!?

Slightly embarrassing question, but my delightful other half is only 5ft 2" and on the drive home yesterday with the new rangie asked to have a go.

She couldn't get the seat adjusted close enough for her to depress the pedals enough! Going to have a look to see if theres a problem with the seat but before I start just wanted to confirm if she's the only one as I'm not exactly in the good books for buying something she can't drive... especially as its to tow her horse!

Surely landrover hasn't built a car thats impossible to drive if your a little vertically challenged? She drive our friends disco no problem so any ideas guys?

Mothercare blocks on the pedals?

I'm 5' 2" also and have no problem with my p38 4.6!

Time to part exchange her for a younger model with longer legs.

Drives P38s, classics and discos ok.
In fact memory seats a great help here as I am 6' 0''

Check the seat was lowered all the way,
as well as all the way forward and the steering wheel
was all the way in towards the dash.

Mine,s 5' 2" with no problems other than getting in and out since her hip replacement.

mines in the kitchen, anywhere else she has to have cleaning utensils with her.

Think I may have found the problem! Quite a nice one too... there's a pound coin in the seat runner which is stopping it going fully forward!

Makes a nice change, the cars paying me!

Had to take the whole front seat out to get rid of it but the seat runner is now free of lose change and my partner can now drive the car... not too sure yet that thats a good thing but it'll stop her complaining!

i suppose it depends wether you are vertically challenged in the torso ,or the leg
