Amplifier Need help with New Headunit and HK AMP

Hi guys I'm having issues with my new head unit, I've wired it up using RCA and used a harness( the one below) but having issues with the HK amp, ( which is apparently quite common, w( but still cannot find definitive answer what to do, what am I doing wrong . Pics below

Yeah it doesnt really give a satisfactory redult. You havent said what the problem is but ground loop isolators can stop the alternator buzz.
I found the lear amp more forgiving on the buzz! The HK one sounds a bit better.
The trouble is you end up losing a good proportion of the low end, that bit that makes gives music a bit of depth. Both lear and HK amps sound gash with an aftermarket HU. The crossovers in the amp mess with the HU crossovers i found.
The easiest way to make it sound half tidy is to ditch the amp up front and rewire the mids and low range in series, replace the low end for a nice 3 way speaker and wire back to the HU power amp. Therefore ditching the tweeters. If you can replace the mids too then all the better.
There are other options but its all complicated by having so many channels to feed. Re-wiring the fronts only is a bodge, but just easier. You can leave the rears on the amp and just fade them out, so at least rear passengers can hear something.

Thanks for your reply, I'll be honest majority of that info has gone way over my head, I've wired in headunits before and it's been so easy but this seems so much more difficult. , is there nothing I can do with the existing setup with what I have bought , I figured the harness would do what every other harness does in cars. Is there something else I can buy/make/solder to make this work? Thanks in advance

So I have sound but only on radio . Nothing else , no Bluetooth or local mp3 files
 


This is where I'm at, radio gives me audio, but Bluetooth / usb does not have any sound whatso ever , I know these cables are a spaghetti junction but any ideas , ? Thank you
 
If radio is ok but other sources not, it points to a fault with the HU itself. I would try another HU first. You can get any iso HU in a car boot for a couple of quid. Just to test if its amp, HU or other.
Or try original also

Ok , it being android , you reckon it's a software issue ? I literally am so puzzled why I would have radio and nothing else..
 
I have some alternative firmware for it , so gonna try and flash that tomorrow morning. Anyone else you could think of worth tagging in this convo to assist, I'm really stuck , thanks

If you are getting sound via any mode on your HU then the amp is basically working. The amp under the seat cannot know what source your head unit is using and selectively work with the radio and not other sources.

Looking at the wiring diagram for the High Line audio, there is one wire which goes from the HU to the amp, which MAY be an enable signal, C0922 pin 9, to the amp, BUT I come back to the original comment, if you get any sound from any source, the amp is basically working.

I would agree, get or borrow another HU and try it.

hi again, can i leave this video here for you to take a look at please, you helped me out last month, i have a nexus tablet that i am trying to connect to the car via an amp but cannot as the existing Lear amp is still there, i was hoping i could run FL FR RR RL to a third party amp but i think all i am doing is connecting the third party amp to the Landrover AMP. is there anyway of adding RCA red and white to the Landrover amp? so i can ditch the third party amp and use stock ? thanks again
