alternator wires help

hi all just redone the terminations on alternator ,theres a wire comming from a regulator im not sure which terminal it came from ,need help guys or im walking to work .thanks

would anyony be so kind as to look under thir bonnet for me ,its a 300 tdi 96

Battery light terminal will illuminate when earthed.
W terminal is for tachometer aka rev counter.
