A daft question I know, but can someone please confirm that the bottom screw is an M8 x about 6"?

The current one has sheared off at one end and left a threaded piece in the mounting bracket, wich could indicate that there might be a setscrew in each end ... which I find would be rather unusual to say the least!

However, if it is a single bolt (as I imagine it should be) then I can simply tw*t the remains out and fit a now one!

A simple, swift response would be welcome! ;););)

they are m8

Sorted using a short length od M8 studding with a washer and nyloc nut at each end.

Will be going to the scrappy when I have a bit of time ;)

Just an ordinalry scrap yard will provide most of the stuff like fuses, light bulbs, seats, seat belt mountings, etc.

They have even turned up the odd Series body panel for a friend of mine.

Just off the roundabout for the Tyne Tunnel Trading Estate.
