2003 4.4 v8 water cooled what is a compatable alternator for this vehicle please I have seen a couple on ebay and need too match the part number please

£300 for those genuine ones on eBay

Not worth messing with aftermarket stuff

The design was bad enough already lol

Typical of the muddled BMW/LR thinking. Personally, I'd look for a normal alternator that could be made to fit.
