Yes, very happy, they are 235/85/16 and on the Wolf 6.5 wheels fit straight on. The Wolfs do need longer studs (3/16 longer) but you can get these for around £1 if you shop around. The bad news is that the £105 price was an intto offer subsidised by Yokohama, that's now ended so prices have gone up. I know the offer has ended because I liked them so much I went back on got a 5th for the spare. They had to search all over and I got the last one at the lower price.

The great thing about high profile tyres is that the tide came in and we were parked in 4" of water but it didn't reach the rims. We'd camped there for the night.
Roof-rack is re-purposed old step ladders and bamboo flooring, works a treat. Fixes on with M6 tamper proof bolts.

Looks good, you're running on tubeless? Think I will lookout for a set of tyres 235/85/16 then! Wolf rims look super nice btw!

Yes tubeless. I was on LWB tubed wheels and when I got the new tyres I made the change to the wider Wolf wheels and tubeless. They are a straight bolt on but note mine is ex-mil so its got a 2" lift as standard. The wheel dia on these is 31.7" which gives a nice high gearing and is very close to the dia of the original 7.50 - 16 cross-plys in 1970.

I just found some Nokian TRI 2 tires size 250/75/16 that I'm going to try. $125 a tire at Simple Tire w/free shipping. The are similar to the Michelin XZL maybe better I was told. They measure 8.5" wide and 30.8" in diameter.

Do you mean these tractor tyres?
Looks like they have a speed rating of 56mph max. Not saying you can't run them, but they might not be the most suitable for a car 4x4 like a Land Rover. Please post back and let us know how you get on with them.
