Getting tyres on isn’t an issue it’s getting rangemasters off. They are so strong you can’t release them even when driving over the damn things. I’ve just got one off and it eventually took three of us with two tyre irons and a jemmy bar. It wasn’t even fused to the wheel.

Sez they are £132 each with Vat. Fair enough about the delivery, I just looked at the delivery section on the site.

You are lucky to have the tubeless rims, but I think the Deestones are a tube type tyre.
Cheaper for five. Dunt say tube or tubeless ??

We used to hammer a bit of angle iron between the tyre bead and the rim to break them open. Then lay the wheel on it's side, and jack a tractor up on the sidewall with a bottle jack.

This is what I am leaning towards on the Series. Fairly close to 7.50x16s, and gets us on to the tubeless rims.
They have just come back on the Paddock site, after being unavailable for a while.

I had the deestones would slide round corners in the dry and had observors convinced my wheel bearings were gone , the rangemasters I got from ATS a few year ago on a great deal wish I got 5 I strayed of 4 , a lot quieter and safer
I always thought Rangemasters were a good tyre, but they don't seem to be selling them now. Shame.

That’s them out then

According to the Avon website I have several suppliers within a few miles of my owse. They still have the Rangemaster advertised and local retailers/fitters. ATS is one of them.

That might be of interest to the OP, who doesn't think they are available any more. And several other people have said they can't get them as well.

I would certainly be ringing the dealer first, though, info on websites is not always reliable.

I have not given up on Rangemasters! I just spoke with John Craddock’s and they said they are just out of stock at Goodyear (they own Avon and Coopers) and that they were promised them by the end of April, then May and now June. Fingers firmly crossed…..!
