ALPINE RADIO CODE D2 w reg

Hey guys, wandering if i can get any help...i need a code for my alpine head unit, i used a fella on ebay, who assured me the code for the following serial code was 9 8 8 5...but it didnt work, anyone with a decoder help me please, cheers

To be honest, I don't know of any "decoder" or code reader that will give you the radio security code.
If the head unit is the original unit then Land Rover might have it on their database, not unlike the details they keep for the EKA.
I would advise that you take yourself along to your nearest Land Rover Main Dealer, not your local Landie specialist, taking your V5 to prove ownership and ask them.
