I have a couple of rusty patches on the edge of rear side glass and above on edge of Alpine rooflights. The rubber seals are looking a bit sad for themselves too so I am wondering how much of a job is it to remove the glass, fix the rust and replace the rubber surrounds. Would it be better to leave the glass/seal part of the job to a pro?

Then stuck them back with this
