Alpine CD Changer '04 Vogue

I'm looking for a bit of advice. The CD Changer in my '04 Vogue has decided to stop working. I can't fix it, largely due to the fact that I hit it in a moment of "clarity".

It's an Alpine XQE 00120. 10 pin rectangular connector. The dealer wants £600 for a new one. I want a helicopter, and that isn't going to happen either.

Has anyone got any suggestions for an alternative source or indeed an alternative changer?
