Alpine Active Subwoofer

Who has got the Alpine Active Sub that fits to the rear of the Cubby Box in their Landy?
Any good, worth it for the dough?

I like my tunes, but from previous experience I know a Defender is an acoustic mess - so just want to know if it helps fill in the missing volume (in more ways than one!).

It will go in a 110 DCPU so not as cavernous as a 90 or 110 SW.

Front under dash speakers are upgrades and the Head Unit is pretty strong, so not interested in more speakers and enclosures/wiring and stuff - just something to add some weight to matters.....

Yeah its great. Got one in mine a great addition.

Dont buy the "Land Rover" Alpine sub its 5x the price for the exact same thing. Buy the Alpine "version" and wire it in yourself.
