alloys

hi guys @ gals in ref to 17" alloys i have fitted them to my Vreg 18i freelander with no problems thanks to all members advise this is an A1 group i enjoy being member THANKS ALL

Glad to hear they fitted ok. Post 2000 wheels fit any freelander 1 regardless of year.

Attached are my latest on a 1998 'R' Freelander.

They are a genuine option on the V6 models. I got mine for £45 off ebay!!

They do fit the 1.8 and 2.0, but the contour of the bumper is slightly different. (Can hardly tell)

Hi mate they look excellent.
Did you just take the old ones off (assume they were 15") and then put these on? No clearance issues - caliper/ bodywork/ suspension etc. Everything line up ok?
I've got a '99 xedi and am interested in doing the same. Have been told (by a kind member on here) that 16" should go straight on but wondered if 17" would aswell?
I've had conflicting info from a Landrover dealer who advised that it wasn't possible to fit 16" or 17" wheels to my Hippo so your advice having fitted 17" would be great.

17" and 18" (sport) freelander 1 wheels will fit all freelander 1's regardless of year. You wont need any spacers, nor will you have any clearance issues - they just bolt straight on using the existing wheel nuts and centres.
