I think they do fit but I think the wheel studs were a smaller thickness at the top at some stage around the Disco 2 era, i.e. something like 17mm rather than 27mm. I've also got a feeling the Disco 2 wheels might be a bit close to the brake caliper (maybe only 3 or 4mm clearance?) without using a spacer. Hopefully someone on here can confirm or clarify.

Land Rover Discovery 16 Adventurer is D1 and not D2?

[EDIT] No, it is D2. Got thrown by James talking about D1 but realise I've mixed conversations up.

is stud pcd same?? I was allus under the impression that they were.. assuming spacers are for offset? or to prevent rubbing on caliper??

no d2 and p38 are the same,d1 ,defenders rrc are different to the rest and you need a spacer to get the correct pcd to fit d2 or p38 wheels as well as the offset

Oddly that site claimed the PCD and offset were the same for both the D2 and P38. Strange as I had a feeling the D2 wheels changed slightly at some stage when BMW was at the helm. I thought the D2 wheels had a slightly smaller offset at some stage. Must have got mixed up with something else.

both d2 and p38 have wide axles. d1 , def and rrc arent as wide, so there wheels have little offset whilst d2 and p38 have greater

Well got seller to text me the numbers from the back of the wheels. Turns out they are called Typhoon and they do fit RR P38's. Managed to get them at a reduced price and considering that one of them is brand new still in wrapper i'd say they were cheap, when rimmer bros are selling replacements at £225 each
cheers for all your help lads and lasses
