Satin black......didnt want a matt or a gloss black....so opted for the 'middle' colour, took the advice of the guy/company that done them..after all they should know!!
Stilll not 100% sure tho but i'm really bad for not liking things at first....company that did them suggested i painted the rear drums/front calipers in red BUT i think that would look too 'boy racer'.....

Have been looking on the net at the trims you get to fit round the alloy to protect the rims in case you kerb them but some stick on :)confused:) & others clip on which i think would be better but damned expensive.....surely its possible to buy a rolll of the stuff cheaper elsewhere...frigging miser :D

Presume that's just a very light coat of light tint on the tails is it buddy? What's light distribution like?

All the lights ie headlights/spots/brakelights even the glass sunroofs have 'fly eye' tint fitted....sort of a dot matrix, totally legal....MOT compatable so no probs there...

Doesnt affect the light output at all....;)

Looks awesome! My alloys are a simular shade although not that design. I also have a black 3 door :) Love the steps - any idea where to buy them ones from?

Thanks for all the positive comments folks......re the steps, not sure they were on it when i bought it but are all black (surprise surprise) :D

the negative side is those back lights they may look good as it does but from a distance in the dark and raining you can hardly see some of them.

Hi, i can assure you you can see them.....if you couldnt they wouldnt pass the MOT & the local plods would be having chats with me constantly....

Think you can buy some other form of sticky dot matrix that isnt legal & i've seen lots of Astras/Corsas/Pugs wifff spotty yoofs with those jet black lenses.....not sure they are legal....(all this i was told by my mate who is a reputable/highly regarded tinter by trade).....

So, anybody ever fitted any of those 'alloy wheel rim protector' kits & are they any use? If you scrape the kerb do they need changing or can you sand them down slightly.......:)
