My new Allmarks lift pump has two vertical connections, the instructions which I have read, do not say which is inlet and which is the feed to the filter.s

you need to tell us what injun you have, if 200tdi or 2.5 na or td once bolted to engine hole to fronnt of engine is inlet and hole to rear is to filter

The engine is a 2.5 NA, current pump is leaking oil from the underside.

ayup mate its dead simple . work the pump arm by hand put ya finger in the fitting ! inlet sucks outlet blows !!cconect pipe from tank to sucky side and other to filter !! simples..

Wrong pump, so I refitted the old pump which was leaking oil, but also used some loctite gasget goo on both sides of the gasget paper, it started first time, but I could not got for a test run, watch this space to see if it worked.
