All Terrain Tyres

Hi guys.
I have been looking for all terrain tyres to fit the hippo which have 17" rims on it 255/55 although finding it hard to find anything.
Is there a set size of wheel for the all terrain tyres or any advice on where to find some.
Not sure if we need to change the wheels to get the tyres on the freelander.

If it's a freelander 1, then the factory 17" size is a 225/55/17. You can fit a 225/60/17 or even 225/65/17, both of which have a good range of AT tyres available.

Id asked the local tyre/exhaust garage although they couldn't find anything for the 255/55/17. Had me a little confused as I'd seen another 2005 with them fitted.
Any idea of makes of tyre?

What's the budget? 225/60/17 is a good compromise.
