alarm thingy in headlining......

where the hell is it??? the control unit for the internal alarm sensors.

i've been told its up there somewhere but my landrover gynaecology skills through the rear courtesy light have thus far been unsuccessful.

can anyone shed a little more light on where it is please!!!

Its the ultrasonic detector module for the alarm. It is connected to the alarm module under the passenger side dash.

There are only 3 wires to it, +12v, earth and the detector line that goes low when it is triggered.

It will pop out with a bit of persuasion, but there are no repairable parts.

thanks for that.... a bit more research and i was informed i had been 'sold a queer giraffe' and that it was the TD5's that were in the headlining and the 300 was indeed part of the alarm box.
