Went to start my P38A 2.5 DSE this morning in the garage (the car is never locked when inside the garage because of previous flat battery problems) upon switching on the ignition the high pitched alarm sounded but the engine started OK. Got the car out of the garage tested boot, bonnet and doors all seemed to be secure. Tried locking and unlocking with the key fob and also manually, but when the ignition is switched on alarm still sounds

How can I stop this its a long way to the Range Rover garage with an alarm blaring constantly.

Cut the wire to the sounder under the bonnet.

try disconnecting multi plug, not the one on alarm sounder the two wire one right next to it. its disconnected on my dse and no noise from it, yet another round toit job!
