alarm reset????

hi...after disconnecting the battery to do some welding on reconnecting it the alarm went off and the only way i can stop it is to disconnect the battery again...ive been told there is a reset procedure....does anybody know how or where i can get this from....its a 1991 rrc....cheers

When the alarm goes off, have you tried turning the ignition to position 1 to cancel it?? or pressed the alarm remote fob button??

yes thanks....bit of a brain fart....got this rangey for a steal and didnt expect everything to work on it but it does....bizarrely pressing the key fob actually makes things work....never had that happen before.....lol......
