You guys are all great, one thing you can be sure of is that I will not be moving house I'm on my third wife already!!! but I will be leaving the Range Rover on a farm tomorrow for a few days so I will reconnect the klaxon and see if we have a problem with the pigs and sheep having a sleepless night. Cheers all.

2nd that!!!!![]()
Let me make myself perfectly clear on this one, (there is every chance of me getting my important little places rearranged for life here) but here goes, I have always run an old or should I say an older vehicle than anybody my wife may communicate with, but buy a P38 for your wife and try and pretend you are not really interested in having a bit more comfort in your old age and this is all for her and you will be in the sticky brown stuff. So this is how it is and I will make this work for the mrs as she has put up with far too much already, 2950 miles in a 24 year old defender from London to Oslo and back and only one hotel on route so if i can't sort a simple alarm issue I may be looking for wife number 4
But a bloody site more expensiveThanks tomcat for the useful info. As for the wife situation. Three times is less hassle than a P38
Voice of experience I'm sad to sayWise words again Keith![]()
