The alarm on my motor is a Cobra 7928/26/hf Cat 1, and as of yesterday a few seconds after I turn on the ignition I get 2 short beeps of the horn one after another, has anyone got any ideas whats going on?? 
Alarm , any ideas??

best to google the manual thats sure to say what them beeps are for .

does it still start? My guess is that it has a door or sensor fault.

Cheers Ratty, yes it starts alright, and immobiliser still working, Door sensor?? is this something I could sort myself?? Sypher I've tried that mate, can't find it anywhere's Working in the morning, so it will have to wait until Thursday.

Yes. Bonnet pin is the usual one that plays up. You cann test the theory by unplugging the door/bonnet pins one at a time to see if this stops it.

Ratty your a star:5bhurray:, had a look at the bonnet sensor and the rubber boot on it was knackered, so took it out and soaked it in WD40, let it dry off, and it appears (so far anyways) to have sorted itself out. Probably only a short term solution, but it'll do till I get some brass, happy days, thanks for your help
