Hi.

Saw a very battered p38 with an overturned airstream it was towing on the M40 this evening just south of J12 southbound.

If its anyone from here, hope your ok.
Looks as though the p38 kept upright and looked after you.

may not be the definitive cause of this one but a hit home reminder to always lock the air suspension when towing!

Don't the p38 lock the EAS automatically when you plug in the trailer like the L322 does ?

I don't think so as they make a big point of it in the manual and they gave it a locking button....

and even if i am wrong and it did....do you think you could trust any electrics or automatics on a P38?! :D

Does a 1" height change make that much difference!?

I like it being left to the inhibit switch - gives almost full control over the system :)

blown its turbo's yet ? :D

Without hijacking the op thread: very well no troubles yet touch wood...and still bags of fun. Drivetrain is holding together well :)

Even if one of the two £900 variable vane turbos blew or either of the two FIPS or 10 injectors then they are all covered under my £200 2 year warranty :) i did try to warranty a p38 but it seemed they were too old :(

Yes! Change the centre of gravity at 60mph and you will learn more about physics than you did at scholl.
