Freelander 1 aircon pump wiring

The red wire has broken on my aircon pump , we used a blue bullet connector on the end of the wire because there seemed no way to be able to solder the wire back in to the little plastic (cone) for lack of a better word . The clutch worked fine after that and you could hear and see it clicking . Now it has stopped working again, I have checked the fuse in the engine bay (not sure if there is another fuse in the car) and that seems fine .I am praying the wire has just come off again ,if it has can you buy a wiring loom for the pump ? you never know I have included a pic so you can see the wire I mean

I've got an old engine harness somewhere. I'll see if it has the AC compressor wiring in it too.
