Air to Coil

Is there a particular reason I need to get the settings changed to springs on the ecu?
I fitted a coil spring conversion today and had half expected a warning lamp to come on as well as an audible tone, but there was nothing.

mone has been on springs for a long time and has had no warning lights, Ive just purchased a nonocom and been able to turn the air suspetion off. If you have disconnected the compressor then i cant see a problem. Only thing that might happen is if the hight sensor fails the ecu will think the car is too low for speed. so in the long run may be worth getting it switched off.
