Gents, is there any suggestions for what type of paint to use on coil springs,

I've got to do a bush change on the front of the car and though whilst i'm there i might as well tidy them up as looking rusty even though only a few years old.

I've search and read just about everything i can find, but nothing really out there saying it will do the job.

any ideas

Wax them rather than paint them, dinitrol or similar, then it remains flexible and does not crack and peal as the spring works.

This +1. Most springs are epoxy type painted or powder coated. Both eventually crack, peel, flake off. A good quality thick dark wax like Dinitrol, Bilt Hamber or Buzzweld is the way to go.

Thanks gents, went with the Dinitol option. Time will tell how long it lasts

I have just done mine with Vinylast paint. It's a flexible paint, but I don't think it will stay on for long. They are kind of getting sand blasted every time you go out. As you say....time will tell.
