Anything is possible...well, most things. Do some research and see if there is a coil kit for it.

Could just be a dodgy door switch and the ECU thinks there is a door open which de-activates the air suspension.

Yeah, you might want to try fix the problem first, presumably an LR dealer is out of your price range, do you know of an independant specialist in your area?

Coil springs on an L322 is a good suggestion, but not the only one, why not consider leaf springs, you could bolt them to the underneath of the body and have one end attached to the suspension lower arm, just like on the original Ford Model T. And if you suffer from punctures, try some wooden cart wheels in place of the alloy/tyre combo, no more pesky trips to Kwik Fit!

get the computer on it and clear the fault, if thay does not work it could mean a new compressor, i needed one at 54k ,ok since
