Not certain on the l322. On the p38 it's a replacement job and I would suspect the same for the l322.
You could try disconnecting the actuating arms and moving them throughout their travels a good few times and hope they clean up but there is a risk you make it worse.
As said before, with the correct diagnostics you should be able to see live readings from them and see what they are doing.
Ok I will tell him all this , thanks

hi all my guy said it's coming up as a height sensor , so going to fit the two front sensors . fingers crossed that will be the end :) will keep you posted

Are the connectors for the L322 height sensors behind the bumper where all the **** from the road corrodes them? Or was that the Disco? Saint or holidaychicken question I guess.

Not the sensor, the connections that go to the sensors.
I had a bit of a look today and if the little black box with wires going in ,from the height sensor,is the connector you speak of, then it is not behind bumper but not far off. I'll see if I can find a diagram and stick an arrow towards it. I know, i should've taken a photo :(

That sounds like the one.

Only to be expected but I can now not find a decent photo, online, showing where the little connector looking thing is. Simple way to put it is,looking at n/s/f,with wheel removed, : at 90 degree angle to bumper, to the back and left of the top position of sensor arm,but not far enough to left to be behind bumper, hiding in a little space with lots of other things half obscuring it,is a little black rectangular box, with wires leading between it and height sensor. :D

Does it look like this one or is this just the height sensor and you are looking for the connector on the other end?

Look in the tech archive top left of range rover home page in there look for one by Wammers on the EAS follow the tests and let us know what's happening.
HI all have the range rover back now , front height sensors changed and then re calibrated . seems to work ok on driveway hope all is good when I use at the weekend . thanks for all your help

hi all have driven th.e car several times now its back and notice it take a couple of mins to get to ride height. before I take it back to the garage for them to look at it , any ideas of what the problem might be

I would be looking at the pump, it may not be producing much air, rebuild it with new seal and liner, loads on fleebay.

Not that bright in these matters!!!
Oh that'll change, pretty soon you'll be on here giving advice yourself. Welcome to the Hotel California,
